iNFINITE.CoD2 Going to OOF3!!

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the long hibernation of our webby, we have been busy with other things and unable to spend as much time on it as we would like to. We will liven it up again and what better way to start it off than with a significant announcement such as iNFINITE.CoD2 going to and attending the OOF3 CoD2 Lan tourney, taking place in Antwerpen, Belgium, 4.-6.9.2009.

Our OOF3 CoD2 lineup will consist of:
d3do
baaron
brim
ch3v
counter
st!n9

The tourney is backed up with a 3.000 Euro prize money pot, so there is much to play for, however we will take this weekend as an opportunity to meet people from other teams and have some fun together, which does not mean that will not do our best to give a very hard time to the likes of Serious Gaming, eMpathy, Rodcad, mamut.si, H2k, Nintendo64, evo, and all the others who will be attending.

We will make sure to properly document this adventure of ours, so make sure to check back here for photos and videos from the event.

Wish us look, we will need it for sure!

etrnal eSports victorious in The Party 7 grand final

After the completion of the Call of Duty 4 tournament saw ButtonBashers take victory, the results of the Call of Duty 2 tournament at The Party 7 are also now in. The tournament saw a selection of the finest Call of Duty 2 teams (as well as a few CoD4 ones trying their luck!) compete for their share of the prize purse.

After an extremely close Upper bracket, H2k.Gaming were pitted against etrnal eSports on mp_burgundy. This game turned out to be a lot less close than was expected, with etrnal taking it 13-06.

Knocked down to the Consolidation Final, H2k faced off against Rodcad.Gaming on mp_danwnville, a side who they had pummelled into the Lower Bracket earlier on the tournament with a devastating 13-01 win on mp_matmata. However, Rodcad had stepped up their game and a close game eventually turned out with a victory for h2k, 13-10.

Onto the grand final, and H2k were once again playing the underrated side of etrnal eSports, this time on mp_matmata, a map which H2k had already showed they were a force to be reckoned with upon. That said, excellent team play from their opposition produced a great final to watch, the end result being 13-10 in favour of etrnl eSports.

Upper Bracket Final:
(Alfredt, estella, blade, wex, yzzRs) etrnal eSports 13-06 H2k-gaming (AlterEgo, cobee, pussY, Qic, SpoX)

Consolidation Final:
(niZ, PRiNZ, Qwixxx, inf, head) Rodcad-Gaming 10-13 H2k-gaming (AlterEgo, cobee, pussY, Qic, SpoX)

Grand Final:
(Alfredt, estella, blade, wex, yzzRs) etrnal eSports 13-11 H2k-gaming (AlterEgo, cobee, pussY, Qic, SpoX)

Overall, it was a great tournament and I hope we will be seeing a few more Call of Duty 2 LANs in the near future. The final standings are as follows:
1. etrnal eSports
2. H2k-Gaming
3. RODCAD-GAMING
4. moneymakers
5-6. remade
5-6. ButtonBashers
7-8. Serious.razer
7-8. mouseFX
