Team iNFINITE Welcomes an XBOX FIFA 09 Team!

We are glad to announce that Team iNFINITE has expanded into console territory and has taken in an XBOX FIFA 09 team, which currently has a flawless record on the Gamebattles league and is steadily climbing up the rankings. This was a part of our long term plans and we hope that it is only a start to Team iNFINITE's console gaming ambitions.

The CGS calls it quits

The Championship Gaming Series or more commonly known as the CGS, earlier this week decided to break current contracts and call it quits regarding all its tournaments.

A statement on its website noted "While the concept was ahead of its time and we are extremely proud of what we've accomplished, it became increasingly clear as this ambitious project evolved, that profitability was too far in the future for us to sustain operations in the interim."

Speaking to both players and fans of the CGS this week, there have been mixed thoughts of recent happenings however the majority have indicated that the company did not put enough research and emphasis on its consumers especially the players, whilst others have argued that the company lacked a true underlying business core to its function.

My opinion, it was most likely a mixture of both with gamers now having to wait a little longer for a PGL.
